cabin crazy

The weather in Vancouver the last couple of weeks has been bordering on frenetic. Every time I've looked out my window its either been a shock to see snow, or its the constant familiarity of the down pouring rain. The positive has been that I've been somewhat housebound and as a result have accomplished many things-at the top of which would be my etsy site! www.flightpathdesigns.etsy.com.
I've also been having fun experimenting in the studio and came up with the beginnings of a new line of hand-tooled leather accessories. I don't have very much experience working in this technique, which essentially involves using tools to leave impressions or marks in the leather, but have been incredibly inspired by legendary leather guru, Al Stohlman. He is basically the man we have to thank for all the great leather tools that are available today. Apparently he was serving in the army and began fabricating his own tools out of scrap metal to experiment with leather.
I can see a new obsession coming on! For the latest results, check out my etsy site!

my website in transition

If you've arrived here-hello! At the moment, I am having incredible difficulties with updating my website-so I will be using this blog as my spot to update you on what's new and exciting in my world. I'm hoping to have my website fully functional soon!
Thanks for stopping by.
